The Crumpin-Fox Club is a spikeless course. We strongly encourage you to have your shoes changed to non-metal spikes prior to the Invitational to ensure an effective registration process. We will provide "Softspikes" at the course, if needed.

SPORT MEDICINE ANNUAL GOLF INVITATIONAL AND DINNER
Date: June 13, 2008
Location: The Ledges Golf Club
Nestled in the Holyoke Range near the Connecticut River, Ledges Golf Club offers spectacular views of the Holyoke Mountain Range and South Hadley farmlands. Winging through natural wetlands, this 6,500 yard Howard Maurer design offers a variety of hole styles from links to tree lined. With 4 sets of tees the Ledges GC is designed for players of all abilities.
Directions:
Interstate 91 to exit 16 (route 202). Go north on 202. Take your 3rd right on rotary to West Summit Street. Follow the signs to the golf course.
Schedule for the Day:
8:30-10:00 a.m. Arrival and Registration (Box Lunch will be provided)
10:00 Shotgun Start (lunch will be available on the turn)
2:30-3:30 Cocktail Hour
3:30 Dinner and Raffle
The putting green and driving range will be available prior to the start of the tournament if you would like to "warm up"! Please remember The Ledges is a soft spike facility.

The UMass Sports Medicine Mission Statement:
The University of Massachusetts' athletic training facility offers high quality athletics training services to intercollegiate student-athletes. The underlying philosophy of Sports Medicine Program is to ensure the student-athlete's health care needs come first.
The University of Massachusetts Sport Medicine Department provides 23 teams, consisting for 650 athletes, and quality health care during the academic year and summer sessions. The department consists of 5 full time certified athletic trainers and 4 certified graduate assistants. In addition to day-to-day injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation the staff also focuses on student and student-athlete education.

7th ANUNUAL FRIENDS OF UMASS FOOTBALL GOLF CLASSIC
Date: June 23, 2008
Place: Wachusett Country Club, West Boylston, Massachusetts
Mission Statement:
The Friends of UMass Football is an organization that provides assistance and service in order to help promote, strengthen and develop the interests of the UMass Football program through its membership.
A few examples of the assistance that the Friends of UMass Football have made are:
UMass Football Coach, Don Brown, and his staff were donated the funds to purchase The Pinnacle Sports System, a digital video editing, analysis and team training tool. It is the same system used by most of the National Football League teams and many of the major NCAA-1A programs, such as Ohio State and Southern California. UMass is the first A-10 school to have the system.
Funds were made available by members of the Friends to improve and update the Athletic Weight Training and Conditioning Room under the supervision of Coach Bob Otrando. This facility is among the most complete and advanced conditioning rooms in the East.
The next big project is the McGuirk Alumni Stadium Renovation Project which is a three part program.
1. Installation of a state-of-the-art artificial playing surface.
2. Installation of permanent lighting tower system.
3. Installation of artificial playing surface at the Gladchuck Practice Facility
