In addition to working with these teams, you will have the opportunity to mentor undergraduate athletic training students as an Approved Clinical Instructor, through our affiliations with Springfield College, Westfield State College and Quinnipiac University. In regards to academics, our graduate assistants earn their Master's degree or Doctoral degree in the following programs:
Once accepted into the program, the Department of Athletics will provide a tuition waiver, a stipend, payment of approximately 95% of the graduate student health insurance and payment of curriculum fees each year. We also offer summer employment with our sports camps. I am a former graduate assistant athletic trainer here at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst (Master of Science, Exercise Science, 1993). I can tell you from personal experience that you will receive a quality education both in the classroom and in the athletic training room. It is a great experience and will be a springboard for your future as an athletic trainer. We look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely,
